Everything Comes Along With Jesus
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
God gives us gifts daily, both personally and generally, but many times we don’t value or we tend to misuse the gifts He has given us. God has given indescribable gifts to everyone irrespective of gender, qualifications, colour, race etc. of which the most important and the first one is “JESUS” Himself.
It is up to us to receive Jesus as our Saviour and get everything along with it.
“Get Jesus, Get Everything” is a slogan of our church.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Romans 8:32
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
What is the value of Jesus?
In both Old and New Testaments it is written that Jesus is the only begotten Son. He is the only Son of God, the Father. He has no other son and this son was sacrificed for us which explains how valuable is the gift that the Heavenly Father has given us. This is the reason why we must value this precious and indescribable gift in our lives. It will grieve the Father if we don’t value or misuse this gift. We must value Jesus more than anything else; more than our spouse, children etc.
Salvation and eternal life is the second most important gift given to us by the Father.
Romans 6:23 says, ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’
There is life and eternal life. The physical body has life, but “Eternal life” takes place in a person’s spirit. When a person dies, their physical being withers away, but not their spirit. Our physical bodies are the address of our spirit. We are spirits, having a soul and living in a body. When we die, our spirit comes out of our body.
The destiny of our life depends on whether we have received Jesus as our Saviour and it will be revealed at our death. Eternal life resides within Christ and it is a gift. A gift is free and there is no price attached. And the gift of God is eternal life and in Christ Jesus. So, if you want eternal life, you should seek, find, repent and accept Jesus as your Saviour. Eternal life resides in a name and on a person - which is Jesus.
John 10:27-28 says, ‘My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.’ If you believe in God, never worry for you will never be stolen by the enemy. If you hold close to our God, listen to him and follow him, you will never perish and will enjoy eternal life.
A person who has received Jesus will never perish.
Hebrews 13:5
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Our God will not leave us nor will He allow anyone to take us away from Him. It is our unbelief or doubts that makes us think that God has left us or that we will go to hell. Only a person who has not accepted Jesus will go to hell. Eternal life is given to all who follow Jesus. We have eternal life insurance.
Let’s hear a testimony from Anil Kumar who experienced the gracious gifts of God and experienced his miraculous powers.
In the month of March 2020, this man felt pain near his nerves and his feet suddenly got swollen. He consulted several doctors and went to various hospitals hoping for a cure and a cause. As days passed by, his body became more and more swollen while he got thinner and tired by the day. The doctors performed several treatments on him but he was not getting any better. His friends saw his condition and started talking between themselves and often saying that this man will not survive for too long. He was completely bed-ridden in this condition.
Several years back when he was in the gulf, he was a man who used to attend worship sessions. Suddenly one day this belief came upon him that ‘Jesus will save him’ and he started praying fervently. One day when he was sleeping on his bed in the afternoon, he suddenly felt and saw a stark white light in his room that was almost luminous. He was completely frazzled and started calling out to his wife and recounted the incident.
However after that incident, soon enough the doctors found the cause for his disease and he started getting slightly better and even started walking with a stick. One day he meets brother Rajesh who encouraged him to come to the church.
These incidents took place during Covid and that is also when Morning Glory started. He then started watching Morning Glory everyday. When Pastor was preaching he felt a shiver down his leg and felt the presence of God. He then started walking more confidently. Soon it was time for the healing crusade and he travelled every Friday to attend the sessions with his family. Day by day his legs were strengthened and he started feeling like his legs are stronger than ever.
Apart from the healing that was imparted to him, he also has another testimony which is the marriage of his daughter. His daughter was in Dubai and struggled to find a job. She fasted and prayed and got a high-paying job as an accountant. Couple of years back,
his daughter’s wedding was fixed. However, due to financial constraints and such he was not able to plan and conduct the wedding and it kept getting prolonged. Finally, the families spoke and decided on a date. But, unfortunately they did not have the money to conduct the wedding. At this time they came to meet Pastor and they received the prophecy that this wedding will happen in the most wonderful manner. He believed that the Jesus who saved him from death would help him out and provide for him even in this situation. Precisely one month before the wedding they received a call from the bank, where without any documents they were given a loan of INR 8,00,000/-. The wedding took place in the most wonderful way and God helped them in the most unexpected way.
