Israel Tour Report

A group of 110 people, including a significant number of Blessing Center members, had the opportunity to go for the Holy Land Tour a week ago. It was indeed a blessed experience to visit the Holy City and walk in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The journey commenced at Egypt with a visit to one of the wonders of the ancient world – the Pyramids. Afterwards, we paid a visit to the Egyptian museum, and Mt. Sinai, where God first appeared to Moses and presented him with the 10 Commandments.

The next country we visited was Israel, the Land of the Jews. Our first stop was the Mt. of Olives, whose valley Jesus crossed on His way to Gethsemane from the Last Supper. We visited the village of Capernaum, where Jesus healed the paralyzed man. We also walked the path that Jesus took on His way to the Cross to atone for our sins. We ended with Jesus’ (supposed) burial place at the Garden Tomb. A highlight of this tour was boating across the Sea of Galilee and a swim in the Dead Sea. We also visited many places where Jesus performed miracles.

The tour came to an end with a visit to Mt. Nebo in Jordan, where Moses was granted the view of the Promised Land, Canaan.

We thank God for being with us throughout the entirety of the trip and for giving us an enlightened understanding of the struggles and sufferings borne by His people through the ages.
